Lauren graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). Lauren was first drawn to the holistic approach of Osteopathy at a young age when she received treatment for her own sporting injuries and experienced the positive outcomes first-hand.
During her degree, Lauren enjoyed working as a sports trainer in multiple sporting environments that enhanced her critical thinking skills and expanded her knowledge on injury diagnosis, treatment and management. She also has a keen interest in lower limb biomechanics after years of working in a podiatry-based footwear store. More recently, Lauren has loved working as an Osteopath in aged care where she gained valuable experience in managing chronic pain and maximising mobility in the elderly population.
Lauren is a caring practitioner who enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and adopts a holistic, patient centred approach to every treatment. She uses a variety of osteopathic techniques and considers rehabilitative exercises to be an effective adjunct to patient care. Lauren also holds a certification in dry needling.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys all things sport and fitness, spending time with her family and friends and attending live music events.
